Axxess DSP-X — AXDSP-X

The AXDSP-X offers installers a fast, cost-effective solution for improving vehicle sound systems. It features 10 individually assignable output channels, password-protected settings, an easy-to-use smartphone app, and onboard digital amplifier turn-on capability. Built-in Axxess data interface technology also retains many vehicle features commonly lost when installing a traditional DSP.
Flexible À La Carte Purchasing
For most applications, the AXDSP-X and vehicle-specific AXDSPH harness are now sold separately. Simply pair the AXDSP-X with the appropriate AXDSPH harness for the vehicle.
This flexible, à la carte system helps shops reduce inventory costs by stocking a small number of AXDSP-X units along with an assortment of AXDSPH harnesses. Installers can pull the components needed for each job directly from inventory instead of special-ordering a complete vehicle-specific package.
Applications in which the AXDSP is installed at the factory amplifier are the exception and will continue to be sold as complete packages.
Complete Tuning Control
Installers have full control over each of the 10 output channels using the free app for compatible smartphones and tablets. The app makes tuning easy with a 31-band graphic or parametric EQ, selectable crossovers, and up to 10ms of independent time delay on each channel.
Retain Features with a Built-in Interface
Using Axxess data interface technology, the AXDSP-X goes beyond the capabilities of a traditional DSP by retaining many features commonly lost when upgrading a sound system. Voice prompts, parking sensor alerts, and other factory chimes are retained, with adjustable volume control for supported applications.
It is a cost-effective solution for customers who want to keep their factory radio, improve sound quality, and retain integrated systems such as SYNC® or OnStar®.
One Solution, Many Applications
The AXDSP-X supports a wide range of vehicle applications and audio systems, including OE and aftermarket radios, fixed-level analog systems, digitally controlled amplified systems, and non-amplified vehicles without factory chimes.
For most applications, installation is completed behind the radio using the appropriate AXDSPH vehicle-specific harness, sold separately. Refer to the AXDSP-X application chart or Vehicle Fit Guide to identify the correct harness and confirm current vehicle compatibility.
