DS18 PROJECT360 at SEMA 2026 is now part of the brand’s announced show plans. In an October 2 release, DS18 said it will bring three custom audio builds and its full PROJECT360 range to booth 10120. The company also announced an appearance by automotive creator JUCA. Read DS18’s announcement.

The useful angle for audio enthusiasts is serviceability: how a speaker can be repaired after a damaged cone or voice coil, and what that means when planning a system.

DS18 PROJECT360 plans for SEMA 2026

DS18 says this will be PROJECT360’s first appearance at SEMA, following the line’s April 2026 introduction. Field Marketing Manager Rob Ferro will lead the company’s presence. These are advance plans for the display; the announcement does not provide a new retail launch date or new pricing.

The organizer’s announcement confirms that SEMA runs November 3–6 in Las Vegas, with public access on Friday. Readers planning a visit should check the organizer’s admission details before making arrangements.

How PROJECT360’s replaceable module works

According to DS18’s PROJECT360 introduction, the speaker’s cone module rotates and lifts out of the basket. A replacement module can then be fitted and locked in place, retaining the basket and magnet assembly. DS18 describes the design as patent-pending and positions the mid-high loudspeaker range for users who value repairability.

For a buyer, that raises practical questions beyond the initial speaker price. Ask which replacement module matches the exact model, what it costs, and whether it is readily available. Also request the installation and replacement instructions before deciding whether servicing it yourself is appropriate.

Questions to bring to a PROJECT360 demonstration

A custom display can give you ideas for your own build. To turn those ideas into a useful shopping plan, bring details of your vehicle, current equipment, budget, and listening goals. Use the demonstration to start a more specific conversation:

  • Fit: What mounting dimensions and clearance does the exact speaker require, and how will those be checked against your intended location?
  • System planning: Which amplifier settings, crossover recommendations, and companion speakers does DS18 specify for the model you are considering?
  • Service: What is the complete replacement procedure, and what warranty conditions apply?
  • Budget: What would the proposed installation cost, including any fabrication, supporting equipment, and labor?

Keep those answers tied to the actual model and proposed installation. A conversation about a showcase vehicle is a starting point for your own system, and a written equipment list makes it easier to compare options afterward.
