MB Quart Announces Ford Maverick Audio Kits: Speakers, Complete Systems and Under-Seat Bass

MB Quart Ford Maverick vehicle-specific audio upgrade kit with speakers and amplifier

Ford Maverick owners now have a new vehicle-specific audio option to watch. MB Quart has announced a family of Tuned Audio products for the 2022 and newer Maverick, ranging from a front-speaker upgrade to complete systems and an under-seat subwoofer.

The appeal of a vehicle-specific package is straightforward: the speakers, mounting parts and wiring are planned around a particular vehicle. That can make it easier to keep the factory radio and the truck’s interior appearance while upgrading the sound.

Three ways to approach the upgrade

The FMS-216 front-speaker package is for owners who want to begin with clearer sound from the front of the cabin. It pairs 6.5-inch door speakers with separate dash-mounted tweeters.

For a broader change, MB Quart’s Stage 4 packages combine six speakers with a five-channel amplifier rated at 700 watts. The lineup has separate versions for Mavericks with the standard, non-amplified factory system and those equipped with the factory B&O amplified system. The B&O packages are further divided between 2022–2024 and 2025 and newer vehicles. Choosing by model year alone is therefore not enough; the factory audio system matters.

Owners who want more bass can also look at the MBQFM-SUB-1, a 10-inch subwoofer in an enclosure shaped for the Maverick’s rear under-seat storage area. MB Quart says its Stage 4 systems provide a connection for that subwoofer upgrade. According to the manufacturer, non-hybrid models can accommodate two of these enclosures, while hybrid models accommodate one.

Check the exact truck before ordering

The right combination depends on the Maverick’s year, factory audio configuration and whether it is a hybrid. Confirm those details first, then check the package contents and installation requirements for the specific kit.

MB Quart’s product pages are live, but the Maverick products checked on October 1 were marked “Temporarily sold out.” The announcement introduces the lineup; it does not establish that every package is ready to ship today.

The takeaway: Maverick owners have a more complete path from a front-speaker improvement to an amplified, six-speaker system with optional under-seat bass. Careful fitment is the key to picking the right one.
