Description
The SMD-2800.5 combines four Class AB speaker channels, a Class D subwoofer channel and an integrated SMD VM-1 voltmeter. Developed with DS18, its acrylic window, adjustable RGB lighting and twin fans suit an amplifier installation that is designed to be seen.
Power and installation
- Certified RMS at 14.4 V: 140W x 4 + 650W sub at 4 ohms; 200W x 4 + 1100W sub at 2 ohms; 1500W sub at 1 ohm; 400W x 2 bridged at 4 ohms.
- Dynamic music ratings: 180W x 4 + 700W sub at 4 ohms; 250W x 4 + 1100W sub at 2 ohms; 1800W sub at 1 ohm; 500W x 2 bridged at 4 ohms.
- Minimum load: 2 ohms on speaker channels, 4 ohms bridged, or 1 ohm on the subwoofer channel.
- 0 AWG power terminals; recommended external fuse 300A, not included.

Features and controls
Tiffany RCA inputs, power/protection/clip indicators and a metal-case remote level control with clip indication. An IR remote controls the lighting. Selectable high-pass, full-range and low-pass filtering.
