August 3 — New Polaris Systems Across Three Vehicle Types
Rockford Fosgate expanded its Polaris-specific lineup with three new additions: the RZR Phantom Rear Door Speaker Upgrade, a dedicated subwoofer kit for the 2026 Polaris RZR PRO-R and PRO-R Boost, and a Polaris Sportsman Front Rack Audio System.
The subwoofer kit is the headline here. It's built around a 10-inch, 400-watt subwoofer powered by a dedicated channel on a new 1,500-watt, 8-channel amplifier — available in both 2-seat and 4-seat configurations. That's a serious amount of power engineered specifically for a vehicle platform, which is exactly the direction the powersports audio market has been heading. August 14 — PMX-6BB Hidden Marine Receiver
The PMX-6BB is a hidden digital media receiver built for the marine environment, and its standout feature is NMEA 2000 connectivity. That integration means the receiver talks directly to the boat's multi-function display, allowing full audio control from the helm without a separate faceplate taking up real estate on the dash.
Under the hood it runs a 200-watt, 4-channel internal amplifier capable of driving up to 8 speakers, dual zone audio control, and independent subwoofer tuning. Bluetooth streaming via A2DP and AVRCP handles wireless playback and track information from a connected phone. August 26 — Co-Engineered System for the 2027 Can-Am Defender
Rockford Fosgate and BRP worked together directly on a new audio system lineup for the 2027 Can-Am Defender. That co-engineering relationship matters — vehicle-specific tuning developed in partnership with the manufacturer produces results that aftermarket bolt-on solutions simply can't replicate.
The systems feature built-in DSP, digital A2B connectivity for clean signal transfer, and vehicle-specific acoustic tuning designed to work with the Defender's cabin rather than fight against it.
