Omega, Excalibur & Omegalink
Build the system around the vehicle, not just the remote. Explore Excalibur security and remote-start equipment alongside Omegalink interfaces, with the application checks that connect those pieces.

Different names. Different jobs in the installation.
Excalibur is the vehicle-security and remote-start name you will see on systems and remotes. Omegalink identifies programmable integration products that help compatible aftermarket systems communicate with supported factory vehicle electronics. Our catalog groups these products under Omega so you can consider the system and the required interface together.
Excalibur’s current manufacturer website identifies the brand as part of the VOXX portfolio. Product selection still starts with the exact model and installation documentation, not a company-history claim or an assumption that every product in a family works together.
Excalibur systems
An alarm, a remote starter and a combined security/remote-start system serve different needs. Compare the functions supplied by the exact unit before choosing the remote style. A one-way remote sends commands; a two-way system can provide supported return-status feedback.
The AL-1680 is one example of Excalibur’s combined approach, bringing one-way remote control, remote start, keyless entry and security into the same platform. Optional functions and accessories remain subject to vehicle and installation compatibility.
Omegalink integration
A programmable interface is not a universal drop-in alarm or a replacement for installation planning. Firmware, vehicle configuration and the host system determine which functions are supported.
Check the exact hardware format too. A cartridge-style interface and an external module are different physical solutions. Choose the interface specified for the compatible host system and vehicle rather than selecting by brand name alone.
Plan the complete installation
- Identify the vehicle. Supply year, make, model, trim, transmission and factory starting system.
- Define the functions. Decide whether you need security, remote start, keyless entry or a supported combination.
- Match the integration hardware. Confirm the interface, firmware, harness and any separately required parts.
- Review the included equipment. Remote quantity, sensors, interfaces and smartphone-control hardware vary by listing.

Omega-family product questions
Does an interface module include an alarm or remote starter?
Do not assume so. An interface is an integration component. The individual listing identifies what is included and what compatible equipment it requires.
Does a compatible brand name guarantee vehicle fit?
No. Match the exact vehicle, firmware, host system and installation guide. Supported functions can differ between applications.
Is smartphone control included with every system?
No. Smartphone functions may require compatible additional hardware and service. Check the exact product’s included-parts and expansion details.
Can I buy based on remote appearance?
Choose by the exact model and supported system. Similar-looking remotes or modules are not proof of compatibility.
