Warzone at 12 Volt Outlet
Bring the punch. Keep the whole song in the picture.
A bass line should make you grin, but the vocals and instruments deserve their place too. Warzone gives you several ways to approach that balance: dedicated monoblock amplifiers, four- and five-channel layouts, and midrange speakers with integrated tweeters. The exciting part is choosing a combination with a purpose, whether you're building a new front stage or giving the subwoofer section its own power.
Our Warzone partnership announcement introduced the speaker selection. This guide takes a wider look at the amplifiers and speakers in the 12 Volt Outlet catalog, with practical ways to narrow the lineup.
Start with the amplifier's job
COMBAT monoblocks: a dedicated bass channel
The WC monoblock selection includes WC1000.1D, WC1500.1D, WC2200.1D and WC3500.1D. NSI Audio's Gravity catalog identifies the COMBAT models as Class D amplifiers. These are useful starting points when you're assigning a separate amplifier to the subwoofer system.
Read each model's output at the load your subwoofers will actually present. For example, the manufacturer publishes different WC2200.1D ratings at 1, 2 and 4 ohms. That is why a headline number cannot be carried unchanged into every installation. The amplifier, complete voice-coil wiring arrangement and subwoofer power requirements must be considered together.
Four channels or five?
Our four-channel listings include WC320.4D, WC600.4D and WC1200.4D. Think about these when the project needs separate speaker channels. Decide which speakers each channel will drive before comparing power figures, and verify any proposed bridged configuration in the exact manual.
The WC700.5D provides a different layout. NSI Audio documents four speaker channels and a fifth bass channel, so it is worth comparing when you want those roles in one amplifier chassis. Check the fifth channel's output and supported load separately from the speaker channels. Five channels does not mean five identical outputs.
E-series monoblocks for another bass-build route
The collection also includes E1500.1D, E5000.1D and E7500.1D. Compare the complete specifications instead of assuming an E-series and WC-series model with a similar number are interchangeable. Higher-output projects need an electrical assessment early, including the charging system, current paths, circuit protection and installation space.
Three speaker formats, one important quantity check
- WZ65Pi: a pair of 6.5-inch midrange speakers with integrated aluminum dome tweeters. It gives a left-and-right project a two-speaker starting point.
- WZ69Si: a single 6×9-inch midrange speaker with an integrated aluminum dome tweeter. Order quantity matters if you are building a stereo pair.
- WZ80Si: a single 8-inch midrange speaker with an integrated aluminum dome tweeter. Its larger nominal format needs its own mounting assessment.
These listed models combine midrange and high-frequency reproduction in one assembly. They are not substitutes for a dedicated deep-bass system. Choose the speaker format around the installation and desired balance, then provide appropriate filtering and compatible amplification.
For a door installation, measure the opening, depth, terminal access and grille clearance with the window movement in mind. A familiar 6.5-inch or 6×9-inch label is only the beginning of fitment. These particular speaker listings are not waterproof; preserve the vehicle's moisture barriers and choose a suitable location rather than assuming they are marine products.
Give every channel a clear purpose
Write down the speakers, quantity and load connected to each channel. Then identify how the amplifier receives its signal. A factory receiver may require a compatible interface or signal-conversion solution, and existing equalization can affect the result. Confirm the signal path before buying a pile of components around it.
For the speaker section, confirm the rated power basis and recommended crossover use. The WZ65Pi listing reports rated and maximum figures without a consistently explicit per-speaker versus pair basis, so clarify that detail rather than doubling a number or treating peak power as continuous power.
During setup, establish a clean source level, match gain and balance the speaker section with the subwoofer. Gain and bass boost are not substitutes for sufficient system capability. A well-integrated system should let you follow the vocal and the kick drum without turning one section into a contest against the other.
Contact 12 Volt Outlet with your vehicle, existing radio, speaker quantities and planned subwoofer load if you want help narrowing the choices.
Warzone questions, answered
Are all Warzone amplifiers monoblocks?
No. The collection includes mono, four-channel and five-channel listings. Choose the format around the separate jobs your system needs to perform.
Is the WC700.5D's bass channel the same as a separate COMBAT monoblock?
No. It has its own output and load specifications. Compare the fifth channel directly with your subwoofer requirements rather than assuming the other amplifier's ratings apply.
Do the WZ65Pi, WZ69Si and WZ80Si include tweeters?
These listings describe integrated aluminum dome tweeters. Confirm the complete supplied contents separately, including any needed grilles, mounting parts or wiring.
Are these speakers sold individually?
The WZ65Pi is listed as a pair. The WZ69Si and WZ80Si are listed singly. Check the quantity before placing an order for two or more locations.
Will a higher maximum-watt figure automatically make my system better?
No. Compare continuous ratings, their stated conditions, fit and the role in the system. Then open the full Warzone collection to compare the relevant models and current availability.
