In a vented enclosure sized within.7–1.1 cubic feet per sub and tuned to 32–38 Hz, this NST8 yields strong, extendable bass with controlled cone motion. The 159 oz motor and 15.5 each-way XMAX support substantial excursion, helping bass reach deeper than typical 8" budget subs when paired with an appropriate amplifier. The epoxy-coated 2.5" voice coil enhances durability during high-signal operation, while the dual 2-ohm configuration offers wiring flexibility to fit common car audio layouts. For best results, use a ported enclosure within the recommended volume and note that sealed enclosures are not advised for this model.

Suggestions use 75–125% of the subwoofer’s RMS rating at the wiring load shown. Check wiring, enclosure needs, electrical capacity and installation space. Set gain and filters correctly to avoid overpowering the subwoofer. Buying more than one subwoofer changes the match.
