Energie AGM car audio batteries are now part of the 12 Volt Outlet lineup. Our Energie battery guide helps you compare the range before selecting a model.
Energie PR power cells join the 12 Volt Outlet lineup
The Energie collection brings eight 12V AGM car audio battery models to 12 Volt Outlet, giving builders a practical way to compare capacity, case size and installation requirements in one place.
The lineup includes PR1600, PR1900, PR2400, PR2800, PR2800R, PR3600, PR4000 and PR4800. These are sealed, maintenance-free AGM lead-acid power cells, with capacities ranging from 29 Ah to 110 Ah across the models listed.
Start with the specifications, not the model number
A battery model number does not tell you its amp-hour capacity or guarantee a particular system wattage. The PR1600, for example, is rated at 35 Ah, while the PR1900 is rated at 29 Ah. Compare the full specifications with your charging system, amplifier demand and available installation space.
The two 55 Ah options, PR2800 and PR2800R, share case dimensions but use different terminal arrangements. The R model is the reverse-terminal option. Verify the actual polarity markings and cable routing before selecting one.
Plan the complete electrical system
Before ordering, measure the space available for the case and cables, check AGM charging compatibility, and confirm the intended battery application. A car audio power cell should not automatically be treated as an engine-starting battery. A qualified installer can help match the battery with the vehicle, wiring, fusing and mounting requirements.
