Reikken AGM batteries are now part of the 12 Volt Outlet selection, starting with the RE2420 car audio power cell. Our Reikken brand guide brings its specifications and installation considerations together so you can assess it as part of a complete electrical system.
Start with the Reikken RE2420
A battery choice should begin with the vehicle and the equipment it will support, not simply the largest number in a model name. The Reikken RE2420 product page provides the model details to compare with your installation.
Check the space for the battery itself, the mounting arrangement and access to its terminals. Leave room for the cable connections as well as the case. A battery that fits the footprint may still present a problem if its terminal arrangement puts a connection out of reach.
AGM charging compatibility matters
AGM identifies the battery technology, but it does not make every charging setup suitable for every installation. Review the battery's requirements and the specifications of your vehicle's charging system or external charger before choosing equipment.
If the build includes an additional battery, have the charging arrangement, wiring, protection and mounting reviewed together. Adding reserve capacity is not a substitute for checking why an existing electrical system is struggling.
Compare the complete battery installation
Before ordering, make a short checklist: the exact model, available space, terminal orientation, cable routing and charging compatibility. Share those details with our team when you need help comparing options. That gives the conversation a useful starting point beyond a wattage target.
