JBL Stadium 62F 6.5" 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The JBL Stadium 62F 6.5" 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers deliver 85W RMS / 255W peak power at a 3.0-ohm nominal impedance, bringing Stadium Series flagship engineering to a coaxial format. Glass-fiber Plus One™ woofer, high-resolution aluminum dome tweeter to 40kHz, UniPivot tweeter mount, and push-button level control — Stadium Series performance without the component install complexity, in a 6.5" drop-in package.
The woofer is built on JBL's patented Plus One™ glass-fiber cone architecture — glass-fiber reinforcement adds rigidity and reduces unwanted flex compared to polypropylene, delivering tighter, more accurate bass reproduction with deeper extension down to 45Hz. The Plus One™ design increases effective cone area beyond a standard 6.5" driver for more bass output and musical body. Sensitivity reaches 93dB at 2.83V for exceptional output efficiency. The integrated high-resolution aluminum dome tweeter extends all the way to 40kHz, resolving ultra-fine detail in hi-res audio files that standard silk dome tweeters simply can't reproduce. The UniPivot tweeter mount lets you aim the tweeter's dispersion axis toward the listening position even after installation — a rare feature in a coaxial design. A selectable 0dB / -3dB tweeter level control lets you tune the high-frequency balance to your vehicle's acoustics. Frequency response spans 45Hz to 40kHz for extraordinary full-range coverage.
Pair with a 4-channel amplifier rated 60–100W RMS per channel, stable at 2–4 ohms. The 3.0-ohm impedance draws slightly more current than a 4-ohm speaker, so choose an amp with adequate headroom. Mount in the factory 6.5" door location using the included hardware. Use the UniPivot mount to aim the tweeter toward the driver or passenger seat for the best soundstage. Ideal for hi-res audio listeners and enthusiasts who want Stadium Series performance in a plug-and-play coaxial format.
Pair the Stadium 62F with a 4-channel amplifier rated 60–100W RMS per channel, stable at 2–4 ohms. The 3.0-ohm impedance draws more current than a 4-ohm speaker — choose an amp with headroom. Mount in the factory 6.5" door location. Use the UniPivot mount to aim the tweeter toward the driver or passenger seat for the best soundstage imaging. Use 14-gauge or heavier speaker wire for runs over 6 feet. A DSP processor with time alignment will further enhance the imaging and staging these speakers are capable of.

Q: What's the difference between the Stadium 62F and the Stadium 862F?
A: Both are Stadium Series coaxials with the same glass-fiber Plus One™ cone, aluminum dome tweeter to 40kHz, and UniPivot mount. The 62F is a 6.5" speaker for standard door locations; the 862F is a 6x8" speaker for Ford, Jeep, Mazda, and other vehicles with oval OEM locations. Choose based on your vehicle's speaker size.
Q: What amplifier should I pair with the Stadium 62F?
A: A 4-channel amp rated 60–100W RMS per channel, stable at 2–4 ohms, is ideal. The 3.0-ohm impedance draws more current than a 4-ohm speaker — choose an amp with headroom. A DSP processor will further enhance imaging and staging.
Q: Can I run the Stadium 62F off my factory head unit?
A: You can, and the 93dB sensitivity will give you solid output. However, to fully unlock the 85W RMS capability and the dynamic range these speakers are capable of, an external amplifier is strongly recommended.
Q: How does the UniPivot tweeter mount work?
A: The UniPivot mount allows you to pivot and aim the tweeter's dispersion axis toward the listening position — driver seat, passenger seat, or anywhere in between. This gives you a significant advantage in soundstage imaging compared to fixed-position coaxial tweeters, even after installation.
