Description
Description
The AudioControl EPIC2000 is a 2000W RMS monoblock amplifier from the EPIC Series, built for bass-focused installs that demand a compact, thermally efficient Class D design. When paired with The Epicenter Bass Restoration Processor (sold separately), it unlocks tighter, more controllable bass performance.
- Digital Class-D Amplifier: Efficient, compact power that stays stable down to 1 ohm, helping you run high-current subs with less heat and space.
- 1Ω Stable High-Current Design: Enables strong bass output from demanding low-impedance loads, maximizing your sub’s performance in a variety of vehicle setups.
- 0-12 dB Variable Bass Boost: Lets you tailor low-end emphasis to match your sub, enclosure, and listening preferences without altering mids/highs.
- EPICBoost™ Variable Frequency Bass Boost: Center frequency 30 Hz to 80 Hz with 0–12 dB gain for targeted bass shaping in real-world listening.
- 12 dB/Octave Linkwitz-Riley Low Pass Filter: Adjustable from 40 Hz to 180 Hz to constrain the amp’s output to the sub-bass range and reduce unwanted highs.
- 12 dB/Octave Subsonic Filter: Off to 50 Hz to remove ultra-low frequencies that can waste power and induce cone motion in deep bass.
- ACR-E Remote Level Control Included: Quick level adjustments from the seating position for precise matching to your front stage and Epicenter setup.
- EPICENTER Link: Connects to EPIC (Power & Remote) to simplify installation of The Epicenter Bass Restoration Processor.
- Power & Speaker Terminals with Hex Screws: 4-Gauge power and 8-Gauge speaker terminals provide solid, reliable connections for high-current operation.
- Continuous Power (RMS) @ 14.4V: 800W @ 4Ω, 1400W @ 2Ω, 2000W @ 1Ω, 4000W @ 2Ω (Bridged) for flexible system design.
- Inputs: Line-Level Inputs 500mV–6V RMS for compatibility with most head units.
- Dimensions: 6.1" W x 12.56" L x 2.01" H for a compact under-seat or trunk installation.
- Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 92.9 dBa, Ref 800 Watts @ 4 ohms for clean, quiet operation at high power.
- Idle Current: Ultra-efficient idle draw < 0.5–1 A.
- In the Box: EPIC2000, Wrench, Screws, ACR-E Remote Level Control and Cable, The Epicenter Link (1m Harness), Manual, Warranty.
The EPIC2000 is designed to integrate with epicenter-capable systems, offering strong low-end performance, precise control, and reliable power delivery in a compact footprint suitable for demanding bass installations.
