DC Audio RS 18" Subwoofer from the RSm2 line is a purpose-built bass driver for high‑power, serious car audio systems—delivering deep, controlled bass with a robust cooling design. It uses radial venting around a solid pole to push motor air across the coil for forced cooling, powered by dual 220mm Y35 Extream Grade magnets and an 8‑layer flat‑wire voice coil.
- Extremely rigid non-pressed paper cone assembly: provides precise cone control under large excursions, reducing unwanted cone flex for tighter bass.
- Multilayered polymer foam surround: maintains linear movement at high output while resisting fatigue in demanding listening sessions.
- Polypropylene dust cover with DC logo: protective cover that preserves durability and aids in keeping dust out of the motor area.
- Triple Stiff 8"OD semi cup progressive roll spiders: improves control of the spider assembly, contributing to stable linear travel and reduced distortion.
