The DC Audio XL SPL 15" Subwoofer is a hand-built USA-made 15-inch driver from the XL SPL line (M4 SPL), engineered for extreme SPL in high-power car audio systems. It’s available in 10, 12, 15, and 18-inch sizes and handles up to 2200W RMS (4400W peak) with a 7–14 day build time.
- Power Handling (RMS/Peak): 2200W RMS / 4400W peak — supports high-output bass performance when paired with a suitable amplifier and enclosure.
- 8-Layer Flat-Wound Hi-Temp Aluminum Voice Coil: 3.0" VC diameter for improved heat dissipation and sustained high-power operation under heavy bass duty.
- Extremely rigid cone & Multilayered foam surround: Non-pressed paper cone and multilayer polymer surround minimize cone flex for controlled excursion and better linearity.
- Cast Aluminum Frame & Hardware: Black cast aluminum frame with rubber mounting gasket, rubber motor boot, and chrome spring-loaded push terminals for durability and reliable installs.
- FEA-Analyzed Motor Assembly: Fully CNC-machined motor assembly optimized via finite element analysis to deliver consistent magnetic performance under load.
- Impedance Options: Dual ohm options (.7/1/1.4/2/4) to match a wide range of amplifiers and wiring configurations.
