Description
The Directed DB3 combines door-lock and immobilizer integration with Remote Start Ready capability. In supported RSR vehicle and firmware applications, it can start the engine without another remote-start controller, including original-key-fob three-lock-press activation where supported.

Installation note: Professional installation and vehicle-specific firmware are required. Check current Directechs coverage for year, model, ignition type and supported functions. Digital RF upgrades require the correct firmware, a separate RF kit and RFD2DHRN cable. Follow current programming instructions; the 2024 digital-RF bulletin specifies a PC with XKLoader2. RSR mode is not compatible with manual-transmission vehicles. Remotes, antennas, smartphone modules and vehicle-specific harnesses are not included. Supported operation and required connections vary by vehicle.
