Installation & Compatibility Notes
- Does not fit the fifth-generation Ram 1500. Check the body generation as well as the year and cab style; a 2019 or newer Classic is a different application from the fifth-generation 1500.
- The included 1-inch seat-lift kit is required.
- Bar grilles are not compatible with this box.
- High-excursion subwoofers are not recommended because of the limited airspace and port size.
- Subwoofers with larger frames may require the installer to trim the mounting opening. Compare the cutout, depth and magnet dimensions before selecting a subwoofer.

Can I use a high-excursion 10-inch sub?
It is not recommended. The enclosure’s published airspace and port dimensions are fixed compatibility limits.
Will a bar grille fit?
No. The source specifically excludes bar-grille compatibility.
Can I use an 8-inch driver?
An optional 10-to-8-inch adapter ring is offered; the driver must still suit the enclosure specifications.
