Engineered for broad radio compatibility, the AXRSC retains the features drivers rely on every day, including steering wheel audio controls, factory backup camera functionality, safety chimes, and Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.). Depending on the vehicle application and compatible radio, the aftermarket radio can also retain and display factory vehicle information, HVAC controls, gauges, and personalization settings while maintaining the radio manufacturer’s native user interface.
Flexible À La Carte Installation
The AXRSC uses a fully à la carte system with no preconfigured vehicle-specific packages. Every installation requires an AXRSC interface and the appropriate vehicle-specific harness, which must be purchased separately.
A radio-specific accessory harness is not required, but adding the appropriate harness creates a complete plug-and-play connection to the compatible aftermarket radio.
By selecting components individually, customers get the right solution for their specific vehicle and radio. This flexible approach also lets retailers and installers keep a versatile selection of interfaces and harnesses on hand, making the correct components readily available without requiring a special-order package.
