Description

The PRV Audio 6MB550FT-4 is a Forte Series midbass driver for custom car-audio and professional sound installations. A cast-aluminum frame, paper cone and vented ferrite motor support its low-midrange role.

4-ohm driver; sold individually.
Power ratings: 275 watts nominal, 550 watts continuous program and 1,100 watts peak.
Frequency response: 85–7,500 Hz.
2-inch CCAW voice coil on a Kapton former.
Mounting cutout: 5.59 inches; mounting depth: 3.33 inches.
For full power handling, PRV specifies a 95 Hz high-pass crossover at 12 dB per octave.
